EXTRAORDINARY SHOWS...

IN A SAUNA.

Sauna Theatre fired up its stoves for the first time as part of Summerhall Arts’s line-up at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026. It resided in the rear courtyard at Summerhall where Roundabout used to live.

Our programme ran daily from 6-31 August (except 18, 25) from 9am to 11pm. Visitors could come early for a chilled sauna session with some great tunes, come mid-morning to rave, or at lunch time for some literary sustenance. In the afternoon it was theatre, and in the evening world class Aufguss and the hottest club in town.
